Just managed to delete this post so now I have to type it in again.
Mazarife 7am
I posted my blog for 29 May lady night. Reading it people may consider I am heedless of the pain I caused to my lobrtd. I am not but it is in the past. I can't undo it. I trust these women have coped with the pain and forgiven me as I have forgiven them. I also hope they made better decisions about managing the pain than I did.
I met Susan shortly after writing my journal entry ladt night. She is having issues with a married man whose attention she doesn't welcome. Hr came over from another albergue just as we were called to dinner. His interactions made it obvious he thought of Susan as a sex object and not a woman.

Very pleasant walking conditions today neither hot nor windy. I have carried the pscks for 2 people today. Paula has walked from her home in Amsterdam starting in March. In 2 days she must return to Netherlands and will resume her Camino in September. Her husband is meeting her each night but he is unable to walk so drives a van. Really pleased to see Stephanie again. Her feet must have healed up ss she was walking at a good pace.
Fortunately I didn't meet the man who had been bothering Susan. I had thought several times about what I might say to him but could never think of anything that could express my disgust without being judgemental.
Four people had there money stolen from their bunks when they went to the toilet. Seems money is safer buried in a pack.

The albergue here haf a terrible review but it was the right distance for me to walk.I figured if it was really bad I could just take a rest and carry on to the next one in Astoria- 12km away. I walked into town and with trepidation entered the albergue. It was new with splendid facilities. It was only later I discovered this is a new albergue and the municipal up the road is the one with bad reviews. SusaThn had sent her pack ahead and when she went to collect it confirmed you wouldn't want to stay there.
I had a very pleasant afternoon. I drank too much wine and my stomach is feeling a little delicate so I only ate psrt of thessalad and yogurt for dinner. The dinner went very well with people telling why they were walking the Camino. The acoustics in the restaurant were bad and I had trouble hearing the people at the other end of the table.
After dinner I went for a walk around the village. I found a real cobblestone path 2 olf tractors and a herd of cows came down the hill and through the middle of the village.
A lot of people here will go to El Gando tomorrow. There are only 46 beds so I hope there is one for me.
Thank you God for the good company I have shared today on the track and in the albergue.
