Let the fund rasing begin

I launched my fundraising web site last night and today it has raised $330 - that puts me past 1% of the target. I just hope I can keep on raising $250 a day from now till the NDTA and make my target.

I have not had a very productive day today. It took me ages to get started this morning - it was really nice cuddling up with Ella -much nicer than getting up and going for a walk even on a fine day. I wasted another half hour at work between when I stopped working at 4:30pm and when I left at 5pm, and another hour and a half after I walked home before I took the dogs for a walk.

I was thinking on Sunday night that it was 5 years since I retired Ella (or should that be Ella finally got me to understand she didn;t enjoy agility any more). She still enjoys her walks immensely and no longer shows much sign of arthritis at all. She has been on Joint Flex for 5 years now. 5 years ago I thought she would have restricted movement by now but instead as long as I don't over extend her she is getting around just fine. She can manage a 30km walk OK but that is about her limit now.
