A change to the route

This months Dog World arrived in my mailbox today. In it is a 2 page article on my walk. It very prominently gives the start date of my walk as it was back in December. Since then I have been asked to add Motueka, Westport and Waimate to the route - an extra hundred kilometers. To cater for that the start day is now one day earlier and one rest day has been dropped. And even worse my funraising target has an extra zero.

I completed the trip survey while on the way to Wanaka for agility in January. Now it is time to start the really detailed planning - like what time I start each day.

Just a "short" day at work today. I arrived at 8:45am and left at 9:45pm. 9am to 5pm was spent in data mapping workshops. Very productive but very exhausting. Next I had to try (and fail) to solve a database corruption error that will prevent schemes 11.1 build proceeding next week. And then there were 2 extracts required by the business. A very tiring day but a lot of satisfaction from getting a lot done. Only downside was that I did no walking at all.
