I'm surprise at how goo I feel. I'm tired and a little sore in the hips but I really feel good enought to do another 100km - but it isn't going to happen. In spite of my intentions of getting out and asking for that last $2000 to make the target I have done nothing since the end of the walk to collect money.
I did go out today to do 2 things - get my laptop fixed and transfer the money to Cancer Society. All the money I have received ($21,745.78) is now with the Canterbury Cancer Society who will distribute the funds to Wellington and Otago regions as well. The fund raising accounts will remain open until Christmas for any more donations.
The laptop had strangely decided to fix itself so I drove to the other side of Christchurch for nothing - well I did find a shop with really good pies in Cranford Rd on the way back.
Rapid is recovering nicely. He is rebelling against resting and wants to run around like a mad thing. He is however more comfortable with a boot on his right front poor so clearly the pad is still a bit sensitive.
Starting on 3 December I am walking in India. I will be accompanied by Pankaj Ambvane and Darryl Percy on a walk of about 570km finishing on December 30th,
